As much as I and other people want them to get married, the rumours are just rumours. This was proved not only by the wedding invitation that went viral (it had many grammatical and spelling mistake) but also by Alia.

She didn’t say they’ll never get married but it’s not on the cards right now so our fingers are crossed.

This card, as can be seen by the red underlines, has a lot of mistakes in it that one might not catch immediately. Only on closer inspection, it was caught that the card is indeed a fake and someone was just spreading false news, for publicity perhaps. 

Everyone who is rooting for the couple was undoubtedly happy, even over the moon is a possibility. Those who weren’t, well it wasn’t good news for them either, neither was the clarification of the rumours as the two are still together and very happy. Will not lie, for some people, it’s the invitation of the sad tears of being single. 

Either way, seeing the couple gush over each other and Alia calling her beau “mine” on stage, in front of thousands of people, it made the couple win over our hearts and their paparazzi pictures continue to. 

There’s no denying that they are a good couple, the perfect testimony of the saying “opposites attract” and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 

All the rumours surrounding their wedding, the date, the location, the venue, the designer, who’s invited, who’ll perform, everything and all of it was proved to be fake news when Alia was approached by a reporter at the airport and she said that “uditi khabar hai, udte rehene do” (let rumours be rumours). Those are the words that she said upon being asked questions about her wedding, words that some of us did not want to hear as they shut down all the fake news and put that label on them. 

Sad? For some, for others not and for more, a piece of news that they don’t care about.

Whichever way it be, all we know for sure now is that they are not getting married, not yet. This means that the ones rooting for them need to pray a little bit harder for their marriage to be a reality. 

It is not a forever closed possibility, just closed right now as both of them are busy shooting movies and their relationship is going good right now. 

And we want it to continue so to them, all the best, good luck, we hope that one of the most iconic couples of Bollywood keeps on going stronger by the day and one day, we finally get the news that they are actually getting married and be blessed by pictures that we know will be beautiful.
