Jagame Thandhiram: Dhanush A Notorious Hoodlum!

The notorious hoodlum is once again back after the Maari series. When Maari first hit screens in 2015, fans saw a typical Dhanush whose character was composed of many shades of grey. Danush as an actor who was always a hero was introduced as a gangster but still Maari antics were thoroughly entertaining. But the sequel was disappointing.

Now, The Jagame Thanthiram director Karthik Subbaraj, released a promising teaser through social media. Which has Dhanush as a notorious Madurai based ganster named Suruli. The teaser shows Danush as a rural ganster who goes all the way to London and sets up his territory there. As expected a highly anticipated Tamil big actors movie always has a mass song. In this teaser also we find a short glimpse of Dhanush impressive dance moves for the song ‘Rakita Rakita’.

With the teaser released on Netflix YouTube, the makers confirmed that the movie will skip a theatrical release as it would directly release on Netflix. But a section of fans are disappointed with this move as they would miss a theatrical experience of the Asuran actor’s performance.

The film stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan Soundararaja, Deepak Paramesh and Vadivukkarasi in important roles. The movie has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan.
