V: First Telugu Big Budget Movie Releasing Online

After six months of waiting eagerly, finally natural star Nani is all set to release the movie on Prime Video. The movie was said to release in the month of March but due to the pandemic that couldn’t happen. 

V is directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, the film features Aditi Rao Hydari and Nivetha Thomas as the leading ladies. Produced by Dil Raju, songs are composed by Bollywood musician Amit Trivedi and SS Thaman has worked on the BGM part. The Supporting characters in the movie include Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Vennela Kishore and Srinivas Avasarala.

The trailer of the movie which was released last week depicts the movie as an intense crime thriller. It looks like Nani is playing both positive and negative shades in the film. 

As per the trailer a routine cop- criminal thriller is being highlighted. Sudhir Babu has played the cop in the movie who looks intense in the character, fully focused on chasing the criminal. It is established that the criminal targets the cops and the cop chases the criminal.

Meanwhile, the role of Aditi Rao Hydari is not mentioned in the trailers.

Cine lovers shift to OTT platforms:

The ongoing pandemic has upended every one’s lives. Every sector has seen a lot of challenges and issues. One such sector is the filmy sector. Due to the pandemic, the film shootings, production process, promotions and cinema halls everything has been stalled. Though the government has given order to start shootings, many are not stepping forward due to the severity of the situation.

The cinema hall culture is being slowly shifted to binge watching through various OTT platforms. This radical shift in the culture may also result in the way movies are being made.  

The lined up movies to be released in OTT platforms in Telugu after V are Solo brathuke so betteru, RED, Nishabdam and Color photo etc.

The trailers of V has caught everyone’s attention, people started reviewing the trailer.

One such tweet by a netizen named Vijay Kodam said, that movie would be like Hritik Roshan “war”.

From the time Nani announced the movie "V", I had an inkling that this might be similar to Hrithik's "War" movie – Hero acting like a villain only to be revealed at the end as the hero – customized for Telugu audience.

V is going to be the special movie for Natural Star Nani as it is his 25th movie in a career spanning about 12years ago. And also it is the first big budget telugu movie to release on an OTT platform due to the triggering COVID-19 pandemic.

V is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 5.
