Guess Who: Celebs Absent From Bollywood Fundraiser

Rajeev Masand has published a blind item in Open The Magazine about several celebs being absent from a bollywood fundraiser.

We wonder when this war between the box office king & his ex-manager will end. The superstar has a big ego & sadly for his so does his ex-manager. The ex-manager is turning out to be his nemesis. The superstar did everything he could to harm the ex-manager, from making his protegees sack her to investing in a rival talent management company. She shot back by managing another superstar’s work. 2019 clearly belonged to the ex-manager. Her client starred in 4 hits, while the superstar had only 1 clean hit.

After watching the latest movie of an actress esconced at the superstar’s farmhouse, we wondered how she has managed to survive so long in bollywood. A friend then reminded me about her closeness to several big shot celebs. But now that audiences have seen her around for quite a while, her looks have started lacking novelty as well. Neither is she a great actor & her looks are failing to entice audiences. That explains her stay at the superstar’s farmhouse during the lockdown. The sueprstar’s reputation is such that even if a lady just there just for a friendly stay over, people will think otherwise. We wonder how another celeb – the hot mommy, will face the barrage of questions from friends & relatives when she resumes her life post the lockdown. Everybody knows that the superstar’s farmhouse is some sort of a modern day harem.

Blind Item

Last weekend, during the biggest Bollywood-led fundraiser for Covid-related relief and charities, viewers were surprised that at least a handful of A-listers were absent. These included a muscled superstar, who, as it turns out, had been approached to participate in the ‘giveathon’ but chose to give it a miss reportedly because of the involvement of his former business agent. The superstar and his agent had an ugly falling out some years ago, and according to well-placed sources, he did not want to ‘promote’ any cause she was so closely associated with. He did, however, gather actor and model friends who he’s been isolating with, and shot a video of them donating sacks full of foodgrains to needy families.

The other A-lister missing from the fundraiser was a top female actress who has never particularly enjoyed being part of something where the spotlight isn’t shining exclusively on her.

But news is also coming in that a handful of actors are upset that they weren’t invited to participate. A young actor with solid acting chops is ‘hurt’ that he wasn’t approached.
