Looks like a content writer @Pinkvilla did not do the requisite research before writing this article. They are clearly making a mountain of a mole hill. This celeb father clearly does not want to steal the thunder from his son. He knows that if he is in his son’s debut movie, the focus will be on him. He does not want to undermine his son & wants him to get all the attention. Our sources claim that the son has been honing his acting skills by acting plays. The superstar’s daughter too is associated with theatre. The superstar has been wise enough to not launch his son as soon as he turns 21. As some veteran stars will tell you, that is not a good move. Star kids who are launched at 21 are too young to be cast opposite established heroines & the talent pool if young actresses is not big. So the 21 odd year old star kid has a limited number of heroine choices. The roles too are limited. That explains why a young superstar was allowed to enter showbiz only after he turned 26.

But we must admit that these accusations of insecurity are not baseless. The superstar wa accused by his own brother of sabotaging his career. He did not help save his nephew’s sinking career either. This was after launching him & producing another movie starrring him. Both were hits. But when the nephew needed him the most, the superstar was not around. We think the superstar’s brother is disillusioned. Anyone who has seen him act will admit that the brother does not have that star quality. It wouldn’t be right to accuse the superstar of ruining his career. People conveniently forget that it was the superstar who looked after his brother after he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Actors and insecurities go hand in hand. Almost like long lost buddies. But when you talk about this particular superstar, stories about him being insecure and finicky are enough. But little did one know that it will come into play,even with his own family members. Yes, you read that right! This top A-list hero is insecure of his own son.

The actor has already kickstarted shoot for his next biggie – a period drama that will also see him age through the years. The director, who’s very close to the actor, wanted his elder son to play his younger version in the film. He had even spoken to the young boy, who of course has acting aspirations. But right then, the superstar father decided to go against their wishes and told the filmmaker friend that this won’t be the right platform for his son to make his debut. In fact, he went ahead and told the director that he will play the younger role as well. The maker couldn’t refuse since he considers him his mentor.

What’s surprising is that while other actors’ kids are already making their debut at a really young age, this superstar has been stopping movie offers for his son. Whenever he’s asked about it, he hesitantly shrugs off the topic. But the reality is that he’s insecure of his own son. He didn’t want his son to have an important role in his next as he felt all eyes will be on his debut and he didn’t want that. This is not surprising for people who know him since it’s happened in the past, too with his own nephew. Currently, the nephew is nowhere to be seen and his doting mamu has not even bothered to give him a helping hand. We just hope the beta doesn’t face the same fate!
