Guess Who: This Veteran Superstar Is Venturing Into Real Estate

Mumbai Mirror has published a blind item about a veteran superstar who is now venturing into real estate.

He made millions after starring in several hits in the 70’s & 80’s. He then took a sabbatical in the 90’s. It was during this phase that he ventured into several businesses. One among them was hosting a beauty pageant(the lady who won the pageant went on to marry his son!). But he overbid for the pageant & lost heavily. Sadly many films that he produced flopped miserably. He then was forced to star in B-grade movies to pay back the huge debts. The biggest star the country had ever produced, was reduced to starring in B-grade movies. But he rose like the proverbial phoenix from his ashes & paid back every penny. In the 90’s he had a net worth of 60cr & had loans of 90cr+. He is now worth 2800cr+.

He is known for his good equations with politicians. He was very close to a powerful political family. it is rumored that he made several million of a shady defence deal, which shook the nation. It resulted in the then PM, subsequently losing the election. But that was not before the PM firing the superstar. Thus ended his political career. He has stayed off politics since then. His wife is still active in politics. He was later seen in the company of leaders of “secular” parties. But as of today he is firmly on the side of the most powerful man in the country. While he never directly endorses the PM, he is the face of most of the govt’s flagship schemes. He recently endorsed the upcoming metro project as well. But will the PM save him from the authorities if the superstar’s name crops up during investigations in black money stashed abroad? He was named in the Panama Papers scandal. Is anybody talking about it now? It pays to be close to people in power!

His wife is rumored to be living a separate life. She is rumored to stay in a separate section of the house. A source once told us that the wife has had an ongoing affair with a character actor with oriental features since the longest time. A bit of googling did lead us to interviews where the character actor admitted to being close friends with the superstar’s wife! But an affair seems too much. But like with most bollywood celebs, one never knows!

ONCE bitten forever shy, this veteran superstar does everything it takes to keep bad times at bay. After sound investments and a super busy entertainment schedule, he’s now venturing into real estate as well. We hear he’s partnering in two projects with a producer-distributor-developer with strong political connections. We hear he has invested a decent amount in a couple of real estate projects in the suburbs and will take home 25 per cent share of the profits. At a time when several builders are struggling to complete their projects, we hope our superhero has calculated well to eliminate risks.
