Leila web series is so engrossing that you will binge on the series.
The body parts commercial business, the scarcity of water, rising population, and the assault at the people, all this reminds us of our present. This series does not showcase these aspects initially, however slowly enters your mind and forces you keep bingeing. Leila from director – Deepa Mehta, forces you to connect with the story.
Huma Qureshi is excellent in her role of Shalini. She gives a nuanced performance. Arif Zakaria is menacing in his role as the Aryavarta chief. Siddharth is seen in a negative role & he delivers. Sanjay Suri plays his role of Joshi Ji well. The supporting cast too is well cast & helps in delivering a good product.
