After our blind item on ‘Bollywood Drug List‘, we present to you – the ‘Bollywood Clean List’ – list of Bollywood celebs who don’t consume drugs

Suniel Shetty

Suniel Shetty has been in the industry for a long time. He is now a semi-retired star. But in the last three decades there have been no reports of him ever consuming drugs. He is majorly into fitness & dedicated towards maintaining his physique, health.

2. Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar’s strict routine is no secret. That explains why he doesn’t have to run to some cosmetic surgeon abroad for a tummy tuck or to fix baggy eyes. He is barely seen at parties & is rumored to sleep by 10PM come what may. While he may have consumed alcohol at some point in his life, there is no way that he consumes drugs.

3. John Abraham

John Abraham is rarely seen at Bollywood parties. He ensures that he stays from controversies as much as possible. He is very particular about maintaining his physique & not harming his body. He too is known to stay away from drugs.

4. Aamir Khan

While Aamir is known to host parties & loves to consume his share of alcohol & cigarettes, we haven’t heard about him consuming drugs. He may have consumed drugs for pleasure at some point in his life, but is largely clean.

5. Sunny Deol

Like John Abraham, Sunny Deol too doesn’t attend Bollywood parties. He neither consumes alcohol nor does he smoke cigarettes. Drugs are out of the question.

6. Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan claims to have never touched alcohol or smoked in his life. But some Bollywood forums claim otherwise about his drinking habits. He has definitely smoked cigarettes. Having said that, we have never heard of Mr. Bachchan indulge in drugs.

We had mixed emotions on reading the comments to our ‘Bollywood Drug List’ article. We have always maintained that these celebs are just normal human beings & should be treated like one, instead of idolizing them. But fans have written about how dejected they are & how they will boycott Bollywood movies altogether. We personally feel that this is unfair considering that drugs are prevalent even in the South Indian film industry & Hollywood.

Drugs in fact are consumed even by Doctors, lawyers, musicians, corporate honchos. A big reason for people from these professions consuming drugs is their hectic lifestyles coupled with the immense pressure they face maintain their level of success.

A big Bollywood celeb typically movies from one studio to another, shooting for ads, movies, attending events. etc. Most of them work 14-17 hours a day, spending several days every month abroad or some part of India, away from friends & family. Most of the celeb relationships end in divorces or breakups due to this lifestyle. There is no time to sulk or heal.

Considering these factors, we would request fans to not demonize celebs who consume drugs. Remember that drug consumption is not the only barometer to judge a celeb’s character. A lot of celebs who consume drugs are very good to their staff & are good people in general. A lot of celebs who are clean on the other hand are horrible human beings.
