Smita Patil and Raj Babbar’s son Prateik Babbar married Sanya Sagar on January 23, 2019. They dated for a few years and known each other for 8 years. On the work font, Prateik was last seen in Rajinikanth and Suniel Shetty starrer Darbar. Sanya Sagar is the daughter of BSP leader, Pawan Sagar. Sanya is a writer, editor and director by profession. Apart from this, she has also learned the nuances of filmmaking from the London Film Academy.

Prateik had a good start to his career but his career went through a lull with all his movies flopping. He once said, ‘success went to my head so much that I lost it.’ He was recently seen in the shoe ‘Four More Shots Please’.

Now they are having marital problems. We hear that the couple has been staying separately. Earlier, Prateik and Sanya’s Instagram posts gained too much of love from their fans. They have always left their fans and followers in the awe of them. Their PDA on the internet has always relieved immense love from fans. A source close to Prateik has revealed that all is not well between the couple.

India’s lockdown turned out to be an opportunity for most of the celebrities to spend the quarantine time with their partners. But it seems like this thing has worsened the situation between Prateik and Sanya. They have been staying separately since the past few weeks. When reporters called Prateik a few days back to check on this and he said, ‘nothing like that.’

Also, we found Sanya was absent for various functions of Babbar, be it the holi celebration or Raj Babbar’s Anniversary dinner. Sanya didn’t even invite Prateik for her play William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar wherein she plays Potia. The play was at Royal Opera House on March 14, 15, 21 and 22.

Recently, Sanya and Prateik have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Prateik has also removed their honeymoon pictures from his Instagram profile. He has been repeatedly called and texted by reporters but he chose to not respond.

It seems like the rift has deepened. However, no official announcement about the same has been made by any of them yet. Earlier, Prateik was in a relationship with Amy Jackson. He also became a drug addict at that time. We hope Sanya and Prateik make-up soon.
