Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi had met on the sets of the popular TV show, ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and were not at all attracted towards each other at the beginning. It was in 2013 when Asha realised her love for Rithvik as she saw him filming a romantic scene with another female co-star and was jealous. They never made any official proposal or announcement but they became ‘Ashvik’ for the fans. They have always been an inspiration or goals because the two were not just in a romantic relationship, but always had the vibe of being ‘best friends before bae’.
Now, social media s filled with their breakup rumours. It is breaking everyone’s heart and now Rithvik has shared a post which hints towards their breakup. The lockdown seems to have brought in a storm in the lives of many celebrity couples. While some of them are making of it by spending quality time with their partners, the time id gloomy for other couples as social media is filled with a lot of breakup news recently.
As there were rumours of a breakup with Asha, Rithvik took to his Instagram to share a cryptic post on his story. He shared, ‘I laughed. I laughed like a kid when it dawned on me that so much of what I worried about wasn’t mine, to begin with. What people think and how they perceive you isn’t your answer. And yet we let it rob us of who we truly are. All in the name of fitting in with the herb and that my friend is bullshit.’ Only Rithvik can clear his stance post, this cryptic post which neither agrees nor disagrees with their breakup. It maybe that he shared this post in context with something else and not their relationship but when there are rumours about it, everything points towards it.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source informed that the two have been dating each other for the longest time but things haven’t been too well between the two, of late. They are currently on a break and are trying to see if it can go any further. Some other sources quote that earlier they used to hang out with their friends, but Asha has stopped it about a year ago. Something was amiss in their relationship for quite some time. They both have handled the situation maturely. They have not shared it with anyone but were aware of it.
