Starting Troubles is India’s first medical humor web series, written and conceptualized by Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi who is an ENT Surgeon, (also stand-up comedian, actor, author & innovator) starring Renuka Sahane, Parikshit Sahni, Kurush Deboo and Dr. Jagdish himself.

It is a fascinating story based on real-life incidences that highlight the values of entrepreneurship and balancing work and passion. He has incorporated his life instances. In the web-series, Jagdish is a medical student in India, training to be an ENT surgeon, who pursues his acting career on the side.

Jagdish faces numerous “starting troubles” with colleagues, teachers, and friends while trying to balance between the two. Soon his actions take an ugly turn of events landing him to suspension from his course, barring him to take his exams and a lifelong ban on his acting career. Since 2010, he has co-invented and developed 18 affordable medical devices addressing the unmet needs in the Indian healthcare system, many of which have been taken over by indigenous companies, while some have formed start-up companies for further development and commercialization. He is recognized as one of the 35 innovators under the age of 35 by the MIT technology review 2016.
Life as a Comedian:
With over 200 performances, Jagdish’s comedy is observational, non-offensive, clean, non-political and is well appreciated by corporate audiences and senior management. His comedy revolves around relationships, traffic, human behaviour, entrepreneurship, schooling, friendship, college life and of-course on doctors-patient interactions and medical life, thereby being relatable to audiences from all age groups and backgrounds.
