Choose The Correct Liner

Its not important to start off with a proper fancy liquid eyeliner if you are beginner. If you think your hands aren’t steady enough for a liquid eyeliner, you can start off with an eyeliner pencil /kohls or gel liners are perfect as they are easy to work with and don’t take much efforts to draw it correctly. You can wipe it off and correct it more easily as compared to the liquid ones.

Choose Correct Mirror and Lightening

You can’t be focused and precise enough with a normal wall mirror. For eyeliner your hands need support, it’s recommended that your hands getting support through small table. Practicing eyeliner while sitting calms your body to be more focused, using a magnifying mirror or a normal small mirror right in front of you on table with good amount of lightening will help you see figure out your flaws while drawing eyeliner.


Choose Additional Stencils

There are eyeliner stencils available in market at an affordable price. If you don’t get access to them you try making customised eyeliner stencils at home on thick paper or plastic by cutting it accurately. If not stencils, you can just try taking a simple square piece of paper of cardboard and keep it on an angle to make a wing.

Tape Hack

This hack is most used and trusted by many beauty bloggers already, all you have to do is take any cello tape and paste a stripe in a 60 degree angle or at any direction according to the wing you need. Let the wing dry after you draw it and take off the tape stripe finally as it will give you a mess free and neat winged liner look.

Avoid Oily Lids

If you are going for a normal eyeliner look and no eye shadow below it then you don’t need excess moisture through eye shadow primer. Eye shadow primer generally makes lid very oily and greasy if your eye liner will be thick. Avoid greasy lids and mattify it by using powder.
