Coconut water, a refreshing summer beverage that is a favourite of most people, can be found within the coconut shell. A coconut's split open shell reveals white, creamy-textured flesh that is used to produce coconut milk when combined with water. 

Here are the steps to make homemade coconut milk:

1. Take a ripe or matured coconut and grate it finely.

2. Boil water and add the grated coconut to it and let it soak for some minutes.

3. Now strain the mixture through a muslin cloth and obtain the coconut milk.

Tada! Your homemade coconut milk is ready to use.

How To Use Coconut Milk For Hair?

1. Apply Thick coconut milk: Keep the homemade coconut milk in fridge overnight. Next morning apply it on wet hair and damp scalp. Let it sit for an hour and wash it off followed by shampoo.

2. Aloe vera and coconut milk: Add coconut milk and aloe vera gel in a blender in 3:1 ratio. Apply the mixture from root to tip of your hair and do not forgrt to massage the scalp. Let it sit for at least 30 mins and wash it off followed by shampoo.

3. Lemon Juice and Coconut Milk: In a bowl add coconut milk and lemon juice in 6:5 ratio using a tablespoon. Refrigerate the mixture overnight. Apply the curdled mixture on your hair and scalp and massage. Let it sit for approximately 30 mins and wash it off with shampoo. 

4. Raw Honey, Olive Oil and Coconut Milk: In a bowl add coconut milk, raw honey and olive oil in a ratio of 2:1:1. Apply this mixture on your hair and scalp. Let it sit for approximately 30 mins and wash it off with shampoo. 

For best results, apply any of these above mentioned masks at least two times a week. You will surely notice visible hair growth and healthy hair.
