The 30-Days Meditation Challenge
Meditation is the ultimate road to peace of mind and soul. Every human deserves the benefits of meditating. It actually helps in clearing our minds from all the clutter that it has been carrying around. Getting into the habit of meditating is difficult, but once you get it, there’s no going back. It will become a way of life, a routine, a lifestyle for you. Since getting yourself to start meditating and doing so every single day requires a lot of dedication, there are many ways of actually getting into the habit of meditation.
One such common way of making meditation a habit is taking up the 30-Days Meditation Challenge. In this article, we have explained the 30-Days Meditation Challenge for you, so that you can try it out and get motivated to continue meditating every single day. Once you begin to enjoy the benefits of the same, you will never miss a chance to meditate, and that’s a promise on our side!
The 30-Days Meditation Challenge
This challenge basically motivates a person to meditate every single day. Since it is a challenge, people tend to get the urge to complete it. Under this challenge, one needs to meditate every day, for 30 days. The time periods for meditation each day may range between 5 to 15 minutes, everyday. The duration goes on increasing as you complete more days of the challenge.
Now, coming to what you actually need to do in this 30-Days Meditation Challenge- during the first ten days of the 30 Days Challenge, you need to spend 5 minutes for meditation each day. That may sound less, but it will help you gradually turn this into a habit of yours. Plus, it’s just 5 minutes from your entire day, right? You could easily spare these minutes for mediation without missing any major work.
During the next 11 to 20 days, you need to add another 5 minutes to your daily meditation plan. That is, you need to meditate for a total of 10 minutes from day 11 to day 20. By now, you must have already started feeling the benefits of daily meditation.
During the last 10 days, you need to add another 5 minutes to your total meditation time. This makes your meditation time 15 minutes a day. Increasing 5 minutes of meditation gradually over a span of 30 days makes you enjoy it and not think of it as a chore. You wouldn’t even realize how quickly you started to enjoy these 5 to 15 minutes of your day!
And like we said in the beginning of this article, once you start meditating, you just cannot leave it. The best part about meditating is that there are no rules for you to follow. You make your own rules here, according to your comfort. You may like to meditate in a sitting position in a quite dark room, or you may like meditating in the garden amongst the sounds of the birds and the bees. You may even go for a walk and turn that into your daily dose of meditation. Or you may sit at your desk at work, and take a 5-minute break between meetings and meditate peacefully. See? There are really no rules that you HAVE to follow for mediation. All you need to make sure that you do not get distracted, and are able to bring peace to your mind while forgetting all about your hectic schedule and all the stress you’ve been having lately. Only then would you be able to enjoy the benefits of mediation, in its true sense.
