Gaten Matarazzo (born September 8, 2002) is an American actor, singer, and theatre artist, who is best known for his role as Dustin Henderson on the worldwide successful Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things. His endearing personality, comedic timing, and ability to portray vulnerability only add to the ever-growing list of reasons why he has become one of the most well-liked young actors.

Gaten grew up in Little Egg Harbour Township, New Jersey, but was born in Connecticut to parents Gaetano Matarazzo and Heather Matarazzo. He attended school at Pinelands Regional High School, located in Tuckerton, New Jersey. Gaten had an interest in performing arts from an early age and started in theatre before making the transition to television.
