R. Ravikumar, from the Tirupur city of Tamil Nadu state, is a film director as well as a screenplay writer. He was born on 13th May, 1984 and from his early days knew that he wanted to do something with his camera which he got as a gift and soon plunged into short filmmaking and emerged as a director at an early stage of life. After playing the role of a director in Soodhu Kavvum (2013), he brought to us the sci-fi comedy time travel movie Indru Netru Naalai in 2015, which garnered critical acclaim and was also bagged the Behindwoods Gold Medal for Best Screenplay. The movie became, in turn, a classic example of conjoining complex elements of science fiction with humor.
