Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, known affectionately as Bageshwar Dham Maharaj and Balaji Maharaj, was born on July 4, 1996, in the village of Gadha, situated in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. At 27 years old, he stands as a revered figure, particularly as the head of the Bageshwar Dham Temple in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, drawing admiration and devotion from a vast following.

From his early years, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri exhibited a remarkable ability to captivate audiences and influence people. Fondly referred to as Bageshwar Dham Maharaj, he was deeply devoted to Lord Hanuman ji and possessed a magnetic presence even as a child. It is said that he would immerse himself in storytelling sessions within his village, gradually honing his skills until he narrated his first Bhagwat Geeta story in 2009. This marked the beginning of his journey as a revered storyteller, as he expanded his reach to neighboring villages, captivating audiences with his narratives.
