Laksh Lalwani was born in Delhi, India. He did his schooling from St. Xavier's School in Delhi, and he graduated from the University of Delhi with a degree in arts and photography. Laksh Lalwani belongs to a close family. Romesh Lalwani is his father's name , and his mother is Savita Lalwani. He has a younger sister by the name Poorvi Lalwani. He follows a strict exercise routine and even keeps a record of the same with the help of 'My Fitness Pal' app. He neither believes in being a vegetarian nor does he stop loving butter chicken and chapati.

He got an entry into film accidentally. Because Laksh had to accompany his friend to the Roadies XI audition, where he was supposed to go unwillingly. A film producer, Vikas Gupta, had caught him on camera so he obliged him to go there and try to give an audition on that platform.
END. Laksh made his debut with the show Yoddha Uchh but received mainstream recognition when he turned Porus, a period drama on Sony Entertainment. The show was said to boast a budget of Rs 500 crore, and to add a bit more authenticity to his role, he underwent special training in horse riding, fencing, and rowing.

Even though he had suffered severe injuries while shooting for Porus, he continued to shoot. He says action and thriller are his favorite genres, other favorite actors being John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Hrithik Roshan.

In 2019, Karan Johar cast Laksh in Dostana 2, marking an entry into Bollywood for him, wherein Laksh also signed a four-film deal with Dharma Productions. He released his first film in July 2024 with Kill, receiving rave reviews so far. His next movie release will be Bedhadak, to hit the screens in December 2024.

He worked intensely; however, he has carved himself a niche on television and in film, and he has gained respect from within and outside it. Laksh is riding high on fame, yet he prefers not to attend social gathering functions but keeps his focus on improving at this craft.
