Personal Life: Rajshree is the daughter of the esteemed Indian filmmaker V. Shantaram and actress Jayshree, V. Shantaram's second wife. Her brother, Kiran Shantaram, served as a former Sheriff of Mumbai.

During the filming of Around the World in 8 Dollars with Raj Kapoor in America, she crossed paths with American student Greg Chapman. Three years later, they tied the knot in an elaborate Indian ceremony spanning five days. Following their marriage, Rajshree relocated to the United States with her husband, where they settled in Los Angeles and raised their daughter.
