Sayeed Ansari completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya. He pursued a diploma in mass media and creative writing from Jamia Millia Islamia, followed by a postgraduate degree in mass communication from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology.
Career:
Sayeed Ansari began his career as an anchor at DD News, the Indian government-owned news channel, in 1997. Alongside anchoring, he directed more than ten films for Doordarshan and translated English news into Hindi. He also served as a radio jockey for All India Radio during this time.
In January 2000, he moved to Sahara Samay as an anchor and producer, where he worked for three years. In December 2003, he transitioned to ABP News, where he anchored the prime-time show at 9 pm and became well-known for programs like Insaaf Ka Taraazu and Kahiye Netaji. He also covered the 2004 Lok Sabha elections for ABP News.
In 2007, Sayeed left ABP News to join News24, where he anchored the 10 pm prime-time show. During his tenure at News24, he became known for shows such as Rojana and Star Track.
Since 2012, he has been a prominent anchor at Aaj Tak.
