Shruthi Narayanan was born on June 10, 2001, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. And at the age of 24 years as of 2025, she shared some of her childhood years in Dubai and completed her schooling there. She returned to Chennai to pursue her higher studies in Visual Communication. 

FAMILY BACKGROUND
She arises from a culturally inclined family; her father, Narayanan Krishnan, and her mother, Charumathi Sampath, supported her creative aspirations, as her mother has an art boutique in Chennai. She also has a younger brother. She is presently unmarried but is so close to her family that she negotiates with her brother to do "Hello" and "Namaste" during the last moments of their lives. 

SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGY/EDUCATION AND CAREER
After completing her school education there, she joined Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, where she completed her BSc in Visual Communication. During her time in college, she had hands-on experience as an assistant director & show producer working with production houses as well as TV channels, to garner some practical exposure. Her strength in editing, anchoring, and show production went on to be of assistance during her time as an actress/trainer later.

Television and Web Series
Shruthi began her acting journey with supporting roles in Tamil serials such as Karthigai Deepam and Maari. Her breakthrough came with the role of Rohini in the serial Siragadikka Aasai, which aired in early 2023 and brought her widespread recognition. In 2024, she ventured into digital platforms with a role in the bilingual web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, where she played the character Nanjamani.

Film Appearances
Apart from serials and web series, Shruthi also appeared in many short films such as Azhagana Ilaiyudhir Kalam, Meendum Oru Murai, and The Last Wish. In 2024, she made her Tamil film debut with Charlie Charlie – The Sign of Death.

Media Coverage and Controversy
Shruthi's rise to fame was no coincidence in early 2025. Media attention revolved around a controversial video that had been circulate,d alleging it to be an altered video. She seized the opportunity to raise discussion on deep fake technology and women's digital safety.

Future Aspirations
Shruthi's acting and production experience to date has been respectable, she wants to create more impact in film and OTT. She is looking forward to new roles while continuing to use her voice for digital responsibility and women advocacy.
