Tazeen Hussain Age, Biography In 2025

Tazeen Hussain was born on the first day of 1970 in Karachi, Pakistan. By 2025, she will be 55 years old. Of an artistic background, Tazeen is the daughter of the known actor Talat Hussain and Rakhshand, who comes from an academic field. This was influenced by an environment which is very creative and performance-based, growing up in which fostered her interest in art and stage.

Academic & Professional Journey

Tazeen went to the next level of her studies in communication and design, which she pursued at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, where she got her Bachelor’s in Communication Design. Later on, she obtained a Master’s in New Media  Society from the University of Leicester in the UK.

Her academic career is as successful as her creative one. At Indus Valley, she was an Associate Professor and Head of the Communication Design Department. Also into research cross-cultural design projects, she put her energy which she put into national and international scales.

Acting Career & Comeback

Tazeen came into television in the mid-1990s, which smakingher debut in the telefilm Raqeeb (1994). Also during that time, she appeared in Aurat (1994), Itni Si Baat (1995), Shahpar (1997), Mohlat (2001), and Anjanay Raastey (2003). What made her stand out was her natural screen presence, and she also did very expressive performances, which in turn earned her great recognition.

Although she took time off acting and focused on her family, student life, she returned and was much anticipated in 2022. She returned to acting in 2022 for the film Yunhi, and worked in film and project stage with Jurm, Zulm, Let's Try Mohabbat (coming in 2024), and, the upcoming Qarz-e-Jaan n (2025).

Personal Life & Resilience

Tazeen tied the knot with Zahid Hussaiwhoich a few years ago left us to rest in peace due to a heart attack. Out of that which was a very personal loss, she has proven very resilient, which she did in her professional growth,h also as a mother. Also, she chooses to keep her private life to herself and is into her work and passion.
