Born on August 5, 1973, Udhaya Banu is an Indian television presenter and actress. She mainly delivers her work in Telugu entertainment. This woman has made her mark on the box for several decades.

Family
The family exposure was her very childhood. Her father, S. K. Patel is a doctor and poet. Mother Aruna is an Ayurvedic doctor. Her first name, Udhaya is named after her father's pen name. Her father did die when she was only four years old. She has one brother. As a personal life, Udhaya married Vijay Kumar Midde and the couple had two daughters - Bhoomi Aaradhya and Yuvi Nakshatra.

Career
Born in Coimbatore, Udhaya Banu started acting at the age of 22 years in the Telugu film industry with debut in R. Other Telugu films from Narayana Murthy include in 1994 Erra Sainyam. Some of the other Telugu movies she performed in are Kondaveeti Simhasanam, released in the year 2002, Qaidi Brothers in 2002, and Shravana Masam in the year 2005. She had also portrayed one role in a Kannada film besides performing unemanaged Tamil film Chinna Ramasamy Periya Ramasamy, by R. V. Udayakumar, besides Jayaram.

Apart from her superb acting performances in movies, Udhaya Banu became very prominent with her item numbers in Telugu cinema. Several notable performances include Aapada Mokkula Vaadu in 2008, Leader in 2010, and Julai in 2012. Riveting performances made her one of the versatile performance icons.
