Bollywood Blind Item: Superstar's PR Gimmicks
Marketing & PR gimmicks can only help a movie or any product to a certain extent. No amount of gimmicks & marketing spends can help salvage a bad product beyond a point. Sadly this piece of wisdom is lost on a female superstar & a top filmmaker. After the barrage of negative reviews her last release received, she got into a fight with a social media influencer. The feud received a lot of traction on social media thanks to the superstar's star power. As per sources, it was nothing but a PR gimmick. The superstar was probably desperate at that point in time to increase the online views of her movie which released directly on a streaming platform. The movie's producer - a top filmmaker on the other hand tried sabotaging a thriller starring a "yummy" looking actress who got married recently. It amazes us how the filmmaker doesn't;t recognize the yummy-looking actress' talent despite her being part of the industry for a decade & starring in several hits. He indeed is a sucker for nepotism.
While the female superstar is still the numero uno actress in the country she is probably rattled after 3 consecutive flops. She needs to pull her socks up. Luckily for her, her competition too is slacking. She is miles ahead of all of them. The filmmaker is truly as catty & bitchy as he is rumored to be. Going to whatever extent to promote or salvage your movie is okay, but why to ruin the chances of another movie that was the product of a lot of effort? he badly needs to see a psychiatrist & mend his toxic ways. Next time this jerk claims that Bollywood is one "big family" you will know better than to believe him blindly. Top stars, their spouses & their kids are his family. Nobody else!
