Bollywood Blind Items: Superstar Takes Over As Producer

This superstar & a top producer's close friendship is well known to all Bollywood fans. They have collaborated on several hits earlier. The producer even directed a hit movie starring the superstar after he fell out with the original director. So it came as a shock to us when a source informed us that they have fallen out over the script of their movie, for which shooting was about to commence this month. The producer was not confident about the final draft of the movie & this irked the superstar. The superstar has taken over the project as its producer. He is shifting the project to the outskirts of the city. The original sets of the movies are being dismantled as we write this blind item.

Considering the superstar's erratic choice of projects since the time the maverick celeb manager was sacked & the producer's great track record, we would definitely be betting on the movie flopping upon release. The producer isn't going through a great phase as his last movie - a south remake flopped badly. The movie in question too is a South remake. The director for both the movies is the same writer-turned director.
