Bollywood Blind Items: Young Superstar Quits Mentor's Talent Agency

As per a source, a young superstar who is tipped to rule Bollywood in the near future has quit the talent management arm of his mentor. The actor in question was launched in a hit movie produced by his mentor's studio. He has since starred in several hits & established himself as a bankable star. Sadly for him his last few movies haven't performed well at the box office. He has some interesting movies lined up. Our source went on to inform that it is likely that the star felt that the talent agency wasn't adding much value in terms of his career & his fees. We were wondering what his mentor would have to say on this new development. Looks like he will be okay till the time his protegee doesn't sign up with some other agency & flies solo. The way things stand the mentor needs the protege badly as of now. The studio's last several films have bombed at the box office. It's not like the studio boss can afford to arm twist the young superstar.

The young A-lister is the second celeb to quit the talent agency owned by the studio boss. An actress too quit the agency recently. We guess it has stars feeling that paying a hefty commission to these agencies was not leading to the desired benefits. A top superstar continued to be the highest paid actor & the highest tax payer of the country even years after he parted ways with a top talent management agency.
