As per a source, this director who makes social & political dramas is a pervert. While he made movies that had strong female characters, he routinely disrespects women by groping them. It was very common on the sets of his movies for female artists to share stories of them getting groped by him. One such junior artist was approached by this sleazeball director from behind & was groped. She was too shocked to react. 

It is now an open secret that Bollywood is full of perverts. But there is nothing that these women can do as complaining against such celebs, leads to these women being shunned by the industry. All these women put up with such behavior for the sake of their careers & for providing for their families. 

The director in question has made several hit films. Most of his movies are set in the Hindi heartland. A star known to hook up with junior artists & background dancers etc is his frequent collaborator. He is close to several top politicians as well.
