Bollywood Blind Item: Director Is Dejected By Failure

This filmmaker is a loudmouth. He speaks first & thinks later. Entertainment journalists love his unfiltered interviews, which get a lot of views. His flop director brother, too, gave a controversial interview recently - it is his desperate attempt to stay relevant. Speaking of the loudmouth filmmaker, he had once claimed that South Indian movies are much better than Bollywood & that he would be shifting base to South India completely. One would imagine that somebody making such big claims over content quality would make awesome content himself when given a chance. But that wasn't the case. His latest release - an action-drama, was rejected by both the audiences & critics alike. The movie barely collected any money at the box office. The filmmaker is dejected by his movie flopping badly. He has stopped writing for Hindi cinema & his upcoming Bollywood movie would probably be his last.

He was the face of the Indie movie scene of Bollywood. His low-budget, high-content movies are considered cult classics. They were often screened at film festivals abroad. But as is the case with most celebs, all that adulation & success went to his head. His subsequent movies were not half as good & failed to impress the audiences. Instead of working on his craft, he took the easy route - he blamed the audience. His coterie too fed to his giant ego. He was once very active on social media & took potshots at a VVIP politician daily. The politicians got back by raking up a MeToo allegation. As expected, he hasn't been speaking against those politicians anymore.
