Bollywood Blind Item: Star Joins Political Party For Protection

A star who was big in the 90's but was forced into retirement a decade back thanks to his unprofessional ways has recently joined a political party, which is part of the ruling alliance. It is his 2nd stint in politics. In his previous stint he won the election as a candidate of a party which is now in the opposition. His constituents were fed up of him for not being involved in matters of his constituency. They had put up his posters with a 'missing' sign. LMAO! His rival had claimed that he won the election with the help of a fugitive don - a claim that the star denied. But the star was forced to rejoin politics after he rumoredly got involved in several shady land deals & ponzi schemes for the sake of protecting himself from going behind bars. He has been given a ticket to fight the elections. Will they vote for him again?

He was supremely talented. His comic timing & dancing skills were the gold standard in the 90's. His movies still get a lot of viewership whenever they are aired on TV channels. But his unprofessional attitude led to an abruot end to his movie career. He was notorious for turning up at morning shoots in the evening! He was shameless enough to even make a megastar who was several years senior to him, wait for several hours during the shooting for their movie. A villain had sallped him for turning up late for their shoot. He couldn't adapt to the changes Bollywood went through in the last decade. No way would a unfit, pot bellied, unprofessional actor like him survive in today's world of movies. He was delusional to think that some rivals were deliberately not letting his movies release. Truth is that distributors & exhibitors were least interested in his movies. As expected his movies flopped badly upon release.
