Bollywood Blind Item: Star Kid Is Dejected

Bollywood fans & actors who don't come from showbiz lineage have been complaining about nepotism for several years. But industry folk have been insisting that being a star kid only makes it easy to land your first acting gig. After your debut movie, whether you make it big or get washed out depends completely on your own merit. Take the case of this star kid who has been rejected by the audience & filmmakers alike. As per a source, a star kid is completely dejected at the abject failure of his two movies, which were rejected by the audience upon their release on OTT platforms. He has not been getting any work after the failure of the two movies. While movies can't be classified as a hit or flop if they are released directly on OTT, the negative reviews of the movies have sounded the death knell to the star kid's acting career. Both his parents, his sister & even his step-mom are actors. While his mother, father & his step-mom are accomplished actors, his sister & he haven't been able to earn the respect of the movie going audiences. While his sister has managed to survive in the industry for several years, it will be more difficult for him, as movies are generally male centric. The audience is not ready to accept him as a solo lead. A nightclub has shadow-banned him over his behaviour. He is not in a good space mentally owing to his career related issues.

We can't help but feel sorry for this star kid. He was hyped before the release of his debut movie. He made the news for his personal life. His outings with another star kid were widely covered by the paps. But after his debut movie flopped, nobody was ready to bet on him. To add insult to injury, an ad was pulled down owing to his prominent lisp. The ad was getting talked about mainly for his lisp & not for the brand's offerings. This did not make the brand managers happy & they decided to delete the ad from every platform. We would suggest the actor not to lose hope & look at other options. He should try his hand at some other aspect of filmmaking - try his hand at direction, maybe?
