A studio boss who was elated with the box office performance of the debut movie of a star kid was an angry man last week, after the tepid box office performance of the sequel to an action blockbuster. What was expected to be a sure-shot box office winner went on to be a damp squib. As per a source, the studio boss has decided to end the cinematic universe. The action movie that underperformed was part of this action universe. He had decided to pull the plug on a standalone movie starring the South Indian superstar who was part of the action movie that released recently & the villain of an action blockbuster from the same cinematic universe. The studio boss is contemplating whether to direct the sequel to an action blockbuster starring an A-list superstar himself. It will be the last movie from that action universe.

There are chances of a sequel to the action blockbuster starring the A-list superstar never getting made. The chances of two A-list superstars being seen together in a sequel are almost nil. The studio boss must be hoping that the next movie in the cinematic universe, which stars a female superstar, fares better. The last action drama the female superstar starred in was a box office dud. Action movies starring female superstars have rarely been accepted by the movie-going audiences. But there have been exceptions. Will this movie be able to break the glass ceiling?
