Bollywood Blind Item: Superstar To Play Villain

This A-list superstar's box office standing has taken a hit over the past few years. While he was briefly the box office king during the pandemic, all his subsequent movies have flopped barring a few. He has stubbornly continued to sign five movies a year, despite his well wishers asking him to cut down on work. Over exposure is a major concern as far as the box office receipts of his movies are concerned. As per a source, he has been offered to play the villain's role in the next installment of a hit comedy franchise. The movie stars another A-list superstar, who is also friends with the superstar. The movie will also star 3-4 actors who are not A-listers. The superstar wants changes in his villainous character & doesn't want to play the conventional villain in a comedy movie. His wants his character to be quirky, on the lines of the villainous character he will be playing in a blockbuster horror-comedy franchise. The superstar also wants a free hand when it comes to his dialogues. He is confident that his improvised dialogues will be far better than the ones written by the dialogues writer - who last few directorials were colossal flops. The superstar wants the director to revise the script & narrate it to him. He is not a big fan of the villains written by the director apart from the one written in the first film in a cop franchise.

The dialogue writer is unhappy over the superstar's interference & is not convinced that the superstar will be able to come up with wittier dialogues than him. But the main lead of the movie - an A-list superstar himself, is concinved that the superstar will be able to easily pull it off. He is after all one of the best the industry has seen til date, when it comes to comic timing. He is the face of the maximum memes & reels on social media. What is not known to several people is that these two A-listers were good friends even before they debuted in Bollywood. They have remained good friends ever since. Both are one of the few stars who have managed to survive at the very top for more than three decades - no mean feat.
