Bollywood Blind Item: This Star Was Sacked From A Movie

A flop director who was notorious for not paying his crew members spoke about a star getting six vanity vans to a shoot & asking the producer to foot the bill. We asked our sources to verify these claims & sadly, the claims are true. This young superstar is extremely talented. He is one half of a Bollywood power couple. As per sources, he had agreed to work with a successful South Indian director on his next pan-India movie. During the 1st day of the shoot, the superstar walked in to give his shot. At night, six vanity vans came from Mumbai to the Southern hill station where the movie was being shot. The producers had no idea who ordered these vans & were furious with the director for signing six actors without informing them. But after asking around, they realized that it was the Bollywood star who had asked for them. The producers literally fainted upon calculating the extra burden of these vanity vans on the movie's budget. They took a call to sack him from the movie as his tantrums & expenses would be a nightmare to deal with. They gave him a bunch of excuses to cancel the shoot & asked him to fly to Mumbai.

It is sad to see these wealthy celebs mooching off their producers to satisfy their fragile ego. Despite being paid astronomical sums, the celebs don't think twice before passing each & every expense incurred during the shoot to the producers. South Indian celebs are much better in this regard, as most of them are the kids of producers themselves. Nepotism is much more rampant in South Indian cinema, especially the Telugu film industry. But they know the trouble the producer has to go through while dealing with star tantrums & are mindful enough not to be too demanding themselves. We hope the Bollywood celebs who are guilty of mooching off their producer's money read this & rectify their behavior.
