More details have emerged since we wrote the blind item. As per our sources, the Bollywood superstar directed his own cameo appearance in the South Indian filmmaker's last release. The filmmaker didn't object because he was keen to work with the legendary actor in their upcoming movie. The movie received mixed reviews upon release & did not live up to the expectations of the fans & industry folk alike. To add to it, the superstar kept interfering with the director's vision for their movie during the script sittings. The filmmaker finally had enough of the Bollywood superstar & the movie was shelved.

The movie could have easily been one of the most eagerly awaited movies of Indian cinema next year. It is truly a missed opportunity for Indian cinema fans across the globe. The Bollywood superstar's notorious habit of interfering in the director's vision has ruined another movie. No self-respecting & acclaimed director would be okay with someone else interfering to a great extent in their projects. But then this style of working is probably the reason why the superstar has survived for more than three decades in the industry. Barring a few names, most of the filmmakers he has worked with arent accomplished directors. The directors he works with are generally small profile filmmakers who are more than happy with the chance to just work with him.
