Bollywood Blind Items: Filmmaker Is Angry With Superstar

As per a source, this filmmaker-actor is miffed with a superstar who is on the wrong side of 50. The superstar was approached earlier to star in a movie produced by the filmmaker-actor, but he refused to star in it. But as he thought the script was fabulous, he came on board as one of the producers. He even approached several other actors for the lead role. But none of them are rumored to have green-lit the project. Meanwhile, the superstar who has been going through a rough patch at the box office has signed 4 new projects with him in the lead role. This left him with little or no time to take on the producer duties for the movie co-produced by the filmmaker-actor. He had no option but to drop off that project. This has not gone down too well with the filmmaker-actor who had invested considerable time in prepping for the project.

The filmmaker-actor & the superstar have worked on a movie almost two decades back. The movie was the filmmaker-actor's debut movie & is now considered to be a cult classic. It would have been interesting to see a movie made by these two brilliant minds. Sadly we won't be able to see it anytime soon. But for fans of the superstar, he seems to have gotten over his recent disappointments & is hungry to be back at the very top of the Bollywood pecking order.
