IPL 2024 is just a few months away, and every club has begun training for the competition. Chennai Super Kings, the winners of last year's league, is also getting ready for the new season and a mini-auction. Some players are scheduled to be discharged from the Yellow Army prior to the auction. We have included the names of three likely CSK releases for you to read about in this article.

If not, follow along with us throughout the post to see if you can predict the major releases from  Chennai Super Kings before the IPL 2024 auction.

Here is the list of three probable big releases from CSK before auction.

Ben Stokes

The first and most well-known player scheduled to be released by CSK before the Mini auction is England's test captain. Although there were reports that Chennai Super Kings planned to release the all-round player, they never intended to do so. Ben Stokes has chosen to withdraw from the IPL 2024 due to an injury. He has made the decision to undergo surgery in order to play for his team in the upcoming test series and the 2024 T20 World Cup. CSK is forced to release the star player for all of these reasons combined.

Kyle Jamieson

The second well-known player who is virtually certain to be released is the Kiwi all-round bowler; numerous prominent reports are citing this information from the CSK camp. He sustained an injury that kept him out of the IPL in 2023. His IPL record is also not very impressive; thus far in his Indian Premier League career, he has only played 9 games and taken nice wickets at an economy of 9. As a result, he is expected to be released from CSK before the Indian Premier League 2024 auction.

Another reason why the Yellow Army will trail some of the game's biggest names this time around is because they are chasing Australian skipper Pat Cummins and young Kiwi all-rounder Rachin Ravindra.

Sisanda Magala

The star bowler from South Africa replaced Kyle Jamieson in the most recent Indian Premier League season, but he only played in two games and was unable to leave an impression. He only took one wicket in the two games. He was also declared ineligible for the competition due to injury; he has always struggled with fitness, and it is very certain that CSK would release him before the 2024 IPL Auction; doing this, an overseas slot will be blank to put a better option for IPL 2024.
