The inning took Team India to a huge target for the West Indies in a short interval of time and assuredly gave enough time to get the opposition batter out to win the match.

Ishan Kishan

"The movement was quite exceptional for me to get my first half-century in test cricket, and it became even more special to me when Virat Bhaiya promoted me to his position. I knew the game situation, as runs were required at a good run rate, and I played accordingly. Everyone showed great faith in me, especially Virat Bhai, who told me to go and enjoy my batting."

"I am thankful to him for taking charge and sending me to the top. We had the plan to play 10–12 overs after the rain break and get some quick runs. Hopefully," he added.

Kishan came to bat after Yashasvi Jaiswal was caught by Joshua Da Silva, and he clubbed Shubman Gill in the middle. They took charge of the West Indies bowlers and smashed them all to put them under pressure.
