Ashish Nehra is a former fast bowler from india who made his debut in the field in 1999 is a test against Sri Lanka. His career has been inconsistent due to recurring ankle injuries and he believed it to be normal being a fast bowler. He is popularly known as the Comeback King as he never lead his injuries stop him from playing but he had missed many tournaments for his injuries. He has represented India in around 17 test matches picking 44 wickets. Ashish had played 27 T20Is and 88 IPL matches, picking 34 and 106 wickets respectively. In IPL he has played for different teams. His wife, Rushma Nehra has always been a support for him. 

Rushma is an artist and always praises Ashish's contribution in Indian team. She is a mother of two and enjoys cooking and baking for them. The couple first met in England and it was love at first sight for the player when she came to watch the match on Oval. They soon started talking to each other and that's how their love story blossomed. In 2005, Ashish had to go through surgeries for his back and ankle injuries where Rushma was a constant support to him even while being a long distance relationship. 

Ashish proposed her for marriage after seven years of dating but Rushma first thought it was prank. It was when he asked the question again the next day when she said yes. They got married in 2009 and later they have been blessed with two adorable children, a boy and a girl. They want to keep the children away from the limelight and give them a normal life. She also encourages kids to plant saplings, herself being enthusiastic about gardening.
