7 Best Chinese Movies Till Date in 2021

Are you a chinese movie lover? Some chinese movies really have a great story. Today, I will be sharing my list of favourite chinese movies. 

1. The Killer (1989)

It is a signature work of John Woo. It has a beautiful love story and the things that the character does for his love is the real adventure. The story has blood, emotions, actions and much more. It comes in the top 50 Asian movies. 

2. 24 City (2008)

You can call this movie a documentary or fiction. It shows the story of a factory that closes. The film has a narrative approach. 

3. Chungking Express (1994)

It is a narrative film of two cops who deal with their heartreaks. The character does various lovely or cheesy things in memory of his love. Later, he falls in love with someone else. It is a tragic love life story of the cop. 

4. The Blue Kite (1993)

It is one of the most defining movies in the Chinese film industry. The film was banned in China because of some political issues. It is a story of a boy who is involved in parties and the affairs affect his family. 

5. Red Cliff (2008)

It is yet another great work of John Woo. It is millitary story which talk about some upcoming battles and what the army people go through. The film is a perfection and you won't find any flaw in it. 

6. Happy Together (1997)

It is the story of two men who plan to rebuild thier relationship by coming to Argentina. The film gives the aundience an intense experinece and volatility of relationship. 

7. Aftershock (2010)

The film is about a family with twins. One morning, an earthquake strikes and the husband dies, leaving the wife and children alone. Everyone gets apart and later the siblings find each other.
