Aishwarya Rai's Binodini Das Biopic Put On Hold

The biopic on legendary dancer BINODINI DAS which was supposed to star AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN has been kept ON HOLD for now.
PRADEEP SARKAR, who was writing and directing the biopic, is now moving on to co-direct a ZEE5 web series with AJAZ KHAN (Hamid), produced by GOLDIE BAHL titled 'DURUNG' which will be a Psychological Thriller starring AMIT SADH, GULSHAN DEVAIAH and DRASHTI DHAMI in the lead.
He is also signed to work on a film based on the relationship between Actress PRIYA RAJVANSH and director CHETAN ANAND, which will be backed by DEEPAK MUKUT (Mulk). JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ is in talks to play the actress in this film, but nothing has been finalised.
SARKAR hasnt finished the final draft of the BINODINI DAS biopic and will take a call on the film after completing the shoot of the web series. AISHWARYA, on the other hand, is in talks to star in an ENSEMBLE film which will be a Crime Thriller.
