It appears that the filmmaker was eager to cast Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3. However, the commercials did not work out because the superstar demanded a high fee. Firoz Nadiadwala was irritated when Akshay Kumar publicly stated that he will not be doing Hera Pheri 3 because he disliked the script. According to reports, Akshay Kumar has been dropped from Welcome 3 and Awara Paagal Deewana 2. According to reports, Firoz Nadiadwala is irritated by Akshay Kumar's unwavering attitude toward money.

Disha Patani is out of KTina. It seems the producer was upset at how Disha Patani did not allot dates after the movie got pushed due to the pandemic. It was reported that the actress' lack of interest in the film and mundane starry airs upset Ekta Kapoor. She is now in talks with Shraddha Kapoor and Tara Sutaria for the same.

Kartik Aaryan's departure from Dostana 2 made headlines, and rightfully so. Karan Johar appears to have already spent close to Rs 20 crores on the film and was forced to abandon it. According to reports, Kartik Aaryan refused to do the film following his alleged split from Janhvi Kapoor, whom he dated briefly. Others claimed it was his overall unprofessional demeanour.
