Alia and Ranbir are making to the headlines ever since people got to know about their relationship. There are couples who come and go but Alia-Rabir have managed to stay up in the headlines. They are one of the most admired and adorable couples of the B-Town and they are soon going to exchange wedding vows. The wedding news was confirmed by Alia's uncle, Robit Bhatt. So, do you really know how their love story begin? Well, before we see they wedding pictures let's get to their story. 

The Start! 

It started when Alia was just 11 years old. Once Alia was asked about her crush to which she said that ever since she was 11, she has a crush on Ranbir Kapoor. Don't you thing they were meant to be together?! She went on a audition for 'Black' and fell for Ranbir, who was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

The Confession!

Years later, Alia confessed her desire to marry Ranbir on the famous Karan Johar show 'Koffee with Karan'. 

A Project Together! 

When Alia and Ranbir got together for Ayan Mukerji's film, Brahmastra, the rumours of their relationship gained attention. 

Public Appearance! 

The actors never confirmed the rumours. It was at Sonam and Anand's wedding where the couple left everyone stunned by making a glamourous appearance. 

Ranbir's Confession! 

In an interview, Ranbir confessed that he was dating but didn't overspeak about the relationship as he said the relationship needed time and space to breathe. 

New Year Celebration!

They kept their relationship under the wraps. In 2018 the Kapoors were having a hard time as Rishi Kapoor went to New York for his treatment. Alia was seen with Ranbir many times as they used to visit Rishiji in the US and even celebrated New Year in NYC.

The Declaration! 

The couple made an appearance in an award function and openly proclaimed their love for each other. 

How is it Going Now? 

In 2021, it was the first time Alia shared a picture of them and shared about her love for Ranbir. The couple had flown to Rajasthan to celebrate Ranbir's 39th birthday. Since then, they have become vocal about their relationship. They share pictures of them attending each other's family functions and much more. 

Last year in December, we saw the couple getting candid on a promotional event for Brahmastra. On being asked by a fan, “When will you marry Alia or someone else?” Ranbir wittily replied, “Haven’t we seen a lot of people getting married in the last year? I think we should be happy with that.” However, turning towards Alia, he added, “Humari kab hogi?” to which Alia blushed and replied, “Why are you asking me?” It was an adorable moment. 

In an interview, Alia also said “I’m already married to Ranbir Kapoor in my head. And, I think I’ve been married to him in my head for a long time. I feel like the timing of even when we get married, it’s all going to work out in all the right and beautiful ways.” 

They are getting married on 17th April 2022 followed by a reception on 18th. Ranbir and Alia have refurbished their family home, the Krishna Raj bungalow which is now reportedly being converted into a fifteen-story building. The first five floors of this house will be saved for the Kapoors, Alia-Ranbir and Neetu Kapoor.
