Bollywood Actor Anil Kapoor’s doppelganger reveals his favourite actor, and it’s not who you think!

Formerly this week, an American bodybuilder took the net by storm for his striking similarities with Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. For the unexperienced, the US-based fitness freak by the name of Giovanni DelBiondo shared a collage presenting a selfie mirror of his alongside Kapoor. Well, fascinatingly, although he does look like Anil Kapoor, his favourite Bollywood actor is Hrithik Roshan.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Giovanni conversed Anil Kapoor’s stardom and asserted, “I have watched plentiful Anil Kapoor films. He has got a cool swagger about him. My favourite movie of him is Virasat”. Adding more, he told, “My parents are into Bollywood as they appreciate various cultures and wanted to instruct that in me. So, they familiarized me to Bollywood. I am very fortunate as many Americans don’t understand how great Bollywood movies are. I have to say, my favourite movies are from Bollywood and not American films.”

The fitness coach also revealed that being a Hindi movie actor will be his “wildest dream come true”. He then stated, “the first Bollywood film I ever watched was Veer Zaara. I’ve seen almost every Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan movie. It would be a dream come true for me to meet Hrithik in person! He is wonderful and I am a huge fan.”

Even though DelBiondo’s post has received reactions from actor Varun Dhawan and filmmaker Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor himself has not yet reacted. Commenting on the same, Giovanni ended the conversation by saying, “I am hoping he will reach out”.
