Details About Thalapathy Vijay's Next Movie with Lokesh Kanagaraj

LOKESH KANAGARAJ's next film starring THALAPATHY VIJAY is likely to release in FIRST HALF of 2024, with the film set to go on floors in DECEMBER 2022 and will be shoot over a period of 8 months and the post production on the film will be completed by NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2023. Produced by S.S. LALIT KUMAR (7 Screen Studio), #THALAPATHY67 will be a GANGSTER DRAMA which will mark SANJAY DUTT's debut in TAMIL Cinema as the primary Antagonist to THALAPATHY's character and ANIRUDH has been brought on board to work on Music and Background Score for this film. Recently, PRITHVIRAJ SUKUMARAN and Director MYSSKIN have left the project and the team is in talks with Malyalam Superstar NIVIN PAULY and Tamil actor VISHNU VISHAL to replace them in the film. Other than that, TRISHA KRISHNAN, GAUTAM VASUDEV MENON, ARJUN DAS, MANSOOR ALI KHAN and NARAIN have been locked in to play pivotal roles, with the presence of NARAIN in the film gives a hint of this film likely to be integrated into 'LOKESH CINEMATIC UNIVERSE' which consists of KAITHI and VIKRAM. Post this film, LOKESH will start working on KAITHI 2 starring KARTHI and has recently said to have zeroed in on a basic plot for the sequel.
