Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar will reteam with Vicky Kaushal for a high-budget warrior movie.

The untitled movie, which is anticipated to begin production in 2023, is said to be a biographical adaptation of a legendary historical figure.

Although Vicky Kaushal and Laxman Utekar's project, which is set in a small town, has already begun, the actor and director are planning to collaborate once more. In fact, the pair will work with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, which is already directing and producing their untitled project. But this time, the movie won't be a small-town, realistic endeavour; instead, it'll be a high-budget actioner. The movie will reportedly be biographical, though further information is being kept under wraps.

According to what we've heard, the movie will be a biopic about a legendary historical figure. According to a source who confirmed the events to Peeping Moon, "Vicky Kaushal is the top choice for Laxman Utekar's upcoming epic warrior movie. The project has been discussed, and so far, the conversations have been fruitful. Vicky liked the material and gave his verbal approval, but he won't sign the movie until the full narration has been completed. It might take a few more months because the movie is still in the writing stage. However, based on early conversations, Vicky appears to be on board with this thrilling period drama.

"This warrior film with Vicky Kaushal is his first attempt towards making mainstream commercial films; it's kind of a passion project for him, and he wants to mount it on a much bigger scale than any Maddock Films project to date. Laxman and Vicky had a great bond while shooting their first film and are excited to collaborate again on a story they are both passionate about," the source added.

The movie is rumoured to start production in the middle of 2023, but the exact date ultimately depends on Vicky Kaushal's busy schedule, as he already has Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur and Laxman Utekar's untitled next with Sara Ali Khan on the horizon.
