Finally Speaking Out About Anurag Kashyap's Accusations, Abhay Deol Labels Him A "Liar" And A "Poison Person."

Abhay Deol, who is presently promoting his most recent film, "Trial By Fire," finally spoke up in response to Anurag Kashyap's claims about his conduct on the "Dev D" set.

Anurag stated that working with Abhay was excruciatingly challenging and that he doesn't have fond recollections of working with him in an interview with a news portal in 2020.
He claimed that while the actor desired to work on creative films, he also desired the fame and wealth that came with being a "Deol".
For a movie that was shot on a very small budget, the director promised that he would stay in a five-star hotel while the entire cast stayed in Paharganj. He continued by saying that it is also one of the causes for the departure of several of his directors.
Abhay has now clarified the situation by saying that Anurag went in public and spread several lies about him. One of his lies was that, when filming Dev D, he insisted on a five-star hotel room. He claims that Kashyap approached him and informed him that since he was a Deol, he could not remain with them. But what he told the media was the exact reverse, according to Abhay.
Abhay continued by stating that Kashyap had taught him a valuable lesson. He didn't need poisonous people in his life, so he avoided them. He continued by saying the director is a liar and a nasty person. And he would alert folks to his presence.
Additionally, Abhay stated that he sent Anurag Kashyap messages of apology following his "crap" remarks against him. The director, according to the actor, never had a personal goal. It encompassed far more than just him.
Abhay further stated that if he hadn't gone public, he never would have used his name or uttered the things.
