Ratna Pathak Shah, a veteran actress, is largely regarded as one of the most versatile artists in the entertainment world. Her extensive theatre output includes a number of plays in both English and Hindi. While she is an excellent actor, she is also known for speaking her views.

The veteran actress and her husband Naseeruddin Shah are known for their candid thoughts on a number of subjects. Naseeruddin's candid opinions have also gotten him into a lot of problems. Now, the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress has confessed that she tries to prevent him from making such statements.

Ratna Pathak Shah is currently promoting her upcoming movie Kutch Express. During a discussion with Siddharth Kannan, she revealed how she stops her husband from expressing thoughts that may put him in trouble. She said that a a aj ke zamaane mein koi aa kar khada ho jayega ghar par humaare, pathar daalne.  Anyways, it has become increasingly difficult to get work, and there are several reasons for this. So, one must be prudent... but not afraid, if at all possible.

The renowned actress said darr lagta hai, but kya karein, agar duniya mein jo galat ho raha hai usko koi point out nahi karega, toh vo sudhrega kaise?  We are not reckless, aage, abhi tak toh naiyaa doobi nahi hai, aage dekhenge kya hoga.

While Ratna Pathak Shah is preparing to make her first lead role in Gujarati cinema with Kutch Express, Naseeruddin Shah will next be seen in Aasmaan Bhardwaj's thriller Kuttey. Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Konkona Sensharma, Radhika Madan, and Shardul Bhardwaj will also appear in the film.

She has previously appeared in Attack by John Abraham and Jayeshbhai Jordaar by Ranveer Singh. Both films were released the previous year. In the latter, she played a Gujarati mother who wanted her daughter-in-law to abort her daughter.
