Is John Abraham’s Career In Trouble?

John Abraham is among the versatile actors in Bollywood whose presence on the screen made hearts pop out of the thousands. It was impossible to ignore the star power and clout wielded by model-turned-actor-turned-producer. John Abraham in the late 90s and even up until a few years ago.

Personally, he has been my favourite actor in Bollywood because of his outstanding piece of work. He always gave the best of the best story with the best screenplay with his outstanding acting skills. Nobody can deny that he was among the best actors standing next to Khans and Akshay Kumar. Do you?

On the professional front, he was bagging plum assignments such as Dhoom, in which he played the lead antagonist and won a Filmfare Award for his efforts in 2004, the Oscar-nominated Water in 2005, the commercially successful Garam Masala again in 2005, Zinda, Baabul and Kabul Express, Dostana and New York.

But on the current note, what the audience observed is the missing spark seen in his earlier career life with back-to-back 4 flops in a row. Pagalpanti, Satyamev Jayate 2, Sardar Ka Grandson, and Attack were all flops. What can be the reason? Some critics believe that he lacks story content, lack of promotions, more reliance on his muscle power, and non-attracting content for the audience. Flopping of the following movies puts his acting career in trouble. He might not be able to survive his career in the upcoming year.

But there is still hope with his upcoming big-budget movie “Pathan” because of the presence of other big actors/actresses in the movie like SRK, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham himself. If that comes out as a bang at the box office, nothing is going to change for either of the stars and they’ll have a long journey in the run.
