John Abraham To Star In Fortune Pictures's Geopolitical Thriller

The newly formed company FORTUNE PICTURES (Girish Johar, Sameer Dixit and Jatin Verma) have signed SRIJIT MUKHERJEE, GAUTAM VASUDEV MENON, ANEES BAZMEE and SHIVAM NAIR to direct films for their company

The first production of this company will be a GEOPOLITICAL THRILLER which stars JOHN ABRAHAM in the lead and will be directed by SHIVAM NAIR and co-produced by WAKAO FILMS (Ashvin Varde, Vipul D Shah) and will go on floors in LATE 2022

Other than this, MENON and MUKHERJI will direct TWO films each while BAZMEE's film will be an ACTION COMEDY written by JASWINDER SINGH BATH and RAVI SHANKARAN, who also wrote soon to be released film 'PHONE BOOTH' starring KATRINA KAIF, ISHAAN KHATTER and SIDDHANT CHATURVEDI

SRIJIT's First film will be a 'Slice Of Life Drama' set in an urban space while Second film will be a 'Crime Drama' based on True Events. On the other hand, GVM's (Gautam Menon) First film will be a 'Romantic Drama' which will have music rendered by AR RAHMAN and Second film will be a 'Revenge Drama' with a Female Protagonist in the lead, which is being written by RITESH SHAH, who also wrote NAIR's film as well.
