KK Funeral: Gun Salute Accorded To The Departed Soul

The news of Bollywood singer KK's untimely demise has shocked the entire nation. It is still hard for us to believe that the singer has left us forever. Condolences and prayers have been showered upon the family who has to go through this unbearable pain of losing a loved one. 

As news already spread, KK went through a cardiac arrest while performing in Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha. The reasons behind the same are still being investigated. However, the Kolkata Police have registered it as an unnatural death case. Whatever may be the reason for his death, KK will undoubtedly remain in our lives forever through his innumerable songs. The last rites of KK are naturally being held at the city he was when death took upon him, Kolkata. His mortal remains were brought to Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan, where people paid their last tributes and prayers to the departed soul. According to reports, Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee was seen offering her prayers and condolences. Apart from this, the Police Force accorded gun salute to the late singer.

CM Mamta Banerjee also expressed her emotions through a tweet, sharing how shocked and deeply saddened she and the entire country is because of KK's sudden demise. She stated that she and her colleagues will make sure that the family receives all support and help during these challenging times.
